The Gin and Tonic is a all time classic mixed drink that is a firm favourite for many at bars around the world. We believe the key to a good G&T is pairing a good quality Gin with plenty of botanical goodness and Tonic Water that's flavour matches the tones of the Gin. But we also believe the alcohol component in this isn't essential. This Virgin G&T recipe is proof of that.

0% spirits are becoming more popular and in this case we have tried Gordons 0% London Dry Gin. It still carries all the freshness of a regular Gordons Gin and floral elements that mix so well with Tonic Waters but with no alcohol. In terms of Tonics, we recommend a standard, Mediterranean or Elderflower Tonic Water as these dry but flavour full options match a London Dry Gin perfectly.

The result is a refreshing, smooth and flavourful drink that would be a joy to sip on in any setting. Whether you are doing Dry January this year or just trying to cut out alcohol a bit more, this is a great recipe to add to your go to list.

Here is how it is made.

Virgin Gin & Tonic Ingredients

  • 1 2/3 oz. (50 ml) Gordons 0% London Dry Gin

  • 4-5 oz. (120-150 ml) Tonic Water of choice

Garnish : Lime Wedge and Rosemary Sprig

Preparation

  1. Add ice to a long or Gin glass.

  2. Pour in the 0% Gin and Tonic.

  3. Stir gently.

  4. Garnish with a Lime Wedge and Rosemary Sprig.
