Do not let its radioactive look fool you, the Sweet Poison is a drink that will leave you wanting more. Poison has never been so tempting.

I have mentioned in previous articles that some of my favourite drinks are the tropical ones and often include Pineapple juice. The Sweet Poison ticks all these boxes and is quickly becoming a part of that list of my personal favourite drinks. There is nothing fancy about the ingredients in it, but at the end of it you get a sweet tropical drink that does not look anything like how it tastes. It has a bright green glow with a deep blue colour at the bottom of it which I think is really cool. The prominent taste in it is the sweetness of the Pineapple juice but you also get a hint of Coconut Rum in there which goes hand in hand with everything else in the drink.
I would certainly say if you are looking for a drink to share with friends and impress them with your presentation skills, then this may be an option due to its unique look. Also I feel this drink would fit in well at a Halloween party due to its green look. It may also be worth your time substituting out the Light Rum for a different flavour such as Pineapple or Mango Rum to add to the tropical theme the drink already has going on. Here is how to make the Sweet Poison.
Ingredients
1oz. (30ml) Light Rum
2oz. (60ml) Coconut Rum
3oz. (90ml) Pineapple juice
1oz. (30ml) Blue Curacao
Garnish : Maraschino Cherry and Pineapple wedge
Preparation
Combine your Rum, Coconut Rum and Pineapple juice in an ice filled shaker.
Shake your mixture for 10-15 seconds.
Add ice into a hurricane or highball glass and pour your Blue Curacao to the bottom of the glass.
Strain your mixture over the top of the Blue Curacao.
Garnish with your Cherry and Pineapple wedge.
